Montana came to us as a very frightened, very fearfull little girl of 5mths, it took months of training to gain her trust, she was extrememly fearful of any and all men, this is when we decided something quite traumatic had occured to her as a young baby.
I persevered with her and we became quite an unstoppable team, although she still distrusted all men. Even going to the length of biting one on the groin through her security mesh trolley.

Montana and I were the perfect team, she trusted me and worked hard to please me, at 7 mths and 3 weeks of age she won RUNNER UP BEST IN SHOW at the ACT Hound Club show, the YOUNGEST EVER Pharaoh Hound in AUSTRALIA to do so!!!! She was just a minor puppy, and she proved she was a magnificent girl for mum...We had a miraculous bond, something you can only have once or twice in a lifetime.

Sadly she isnt with us, her life was taken by a huge 2.5mt long king brown snake, she had killed the snake but was bitten, she defended her property and all my other dogs, that was one of the saddest days of my life 1 week befoe many royal shows, she is gone I only have her memories, but I bet her spirit is still with me as it was when she was alive, a true loyal friend she was.
